Do not, for any reason, compromise on the staff and service! The staff you employ at your coffee shop should be enthusiastic, hard-working and young. Train them how to greet customers, how to take orders and not make a mistake in serving them, how to suggest coffee combinations to customers, etc. Make sure your staff serves customers their orders within a stipulated time. Train them to take care of their customers and attend to them, even after they have served them their coffee. Service to a customer does not end till the customer leaves your coffee shop. Here, it is important for your staff to be genuine rather than just 'nice' and 'polite' and all that jazz.
Such withdrawal symptoms can include, severe headaches, irritability, exhaustion, mood swings, problems in concentration, muscle pain, and drowsiness. Such symptoms can be observed within 12 to 24 hours from the time the last cup of coffee was taken.
Maybe this is a personal choice but I feel that ottomans, because of the way they look and their construction, are more informal and suit a casual seating arrangement better. For instance, if you want to kick off your shoes and watch a movie, you can enjoy it with an ottoman to put your feet on, and chill out. Refreshments can be placed on a tray on the ottoman.
The stores are flooded with commercial products to clean your coffee maker. Though these commercial products appear attractive and more effective, what you are actually doing is shelling out your hard-earned money on some acid or plain solvent wrapped in a fancy package. It's better to stick to natural products available in the kitchen on a regular basis, rather than resorting to expensive commercial products.
