The Alabama Future Workforce Initiative (AFWI) supports the career-technical dual enrollment program that provides an opportunity for high school students to earn both high school and college credit for approved courses taken through one of 24 institutions in the Alabama Community College System.
Your donation will provide scholarships to eligible students for the cost of tuition, fees, books, and supplies. Students may enroll in a wide variety of high wage, high demand programs - such as: Manufacturing, Welding, Allied Health, Construction, Aviation Maintenance, and Industrial Engineering, just to name a few.
In 2013-2014, 3,500 scholarships were awarded to Alabama high school students in career-technical dual enrollment programs.
